All our packages shipped from May 28th to the present are unfortunately experiencing delays with PostNL. We understand how incredibly frustrating it is that the Track & Trace updates currently provide no clarity regarding delivery.

Unfortunately, this situation is completely beyond our control. We are entirely dependent on PostNL for this. As soon as they sort the packages, the status will automatically be updated in Track & Trace.

What is the cause?

In May, many people receive their holiday allowance. This causes a significant peak in online purchases every year — and thus also in the number of packages PostNL has to process. On top of that, there are many mandatory days off during this period, which means PostNL has to process a much larger stream of packages with fewer staff. This has led to the current delays in their network.

In our communication with PostNL, they confirmed this as the cause. They indicate they hope to resolve the issue around or just after the weekend.

We are not the only ones. Numerous webshops and companies in the Netherlands are currently experiencing inconvenience from this situation — we are also affected.

Unfortunately, this means that many customers will not receive their package within the usual 1 to 2 business days, but that the delivery time is currently extending to 5 to 8 business days. We deeply regret this and offer our sincere apologies.
